Québec, Canada and New England by Mustang II Experimental Airplane June 9-25, 2003 |
|
We made a deal. My wife agreed to go on a long trip in the Mustang II if: 1) She picked the travel days based on the weather, and 2) Legs were limited to two hours max. "OK! You're on!" We thought it would be interesting to visit French-speaking Canada and New England. Packing for over two weeks and making it all fit in the Mustang II was the next challenge, but since we'd only be carrying about 3 1/2 hours of fuel, it worked out. We visited 16 states in 16 days and thoroughly enjoyed Old Québec City. It's really great to be able to fly the Mustang II to get to such a unique city and scenic New England in just a few hours from the central USA. |
